Primary Purpose of Position

• Provide organised, consistent, and safe family connections for children under a Child Protection Order.
• Build respectful and professional relationships, though confidently take ‘ownership’ of decision making that is delegated to the Org, as opposed to Child Safety.
• Review family connections with the goal of reunification.
• Implement a cultural strengthening model tailored to each child.
• Build relationships with Children to hear their voice on who they wish to connect with.
• Develop contact plans in consultation with the child, family member/carer, or residential carer (this includes consultation with Department, for info only).
• Submit plans to Regional Services Coordinator for safety and risk assessment, before being submitted for CEO endorsement (where the decision is officially made).
