A proud Bigambul woman from the Goondiwindi area, Veronica spent her early childhood in Goondiwindi and small country towns before moving to Brisbane. Veronica has a degree in Social Work and has completed a partial Psychology degree which she is looking forward to completing in the future. In addition, she holds a Diploma in Management, Community Services Coordination and Youth Work. Veronica has 19 years of experience in the sector particularly within statutory environments such as Child Protection, Youth Justice, Family Support, Forensic Mental Health, Corrections and Dispute Resolution.
Veronica has a passion for working in Child Protection and Youth Justice and is excited about working at QATSICPP to drive and influence change. Her approach is trauma informed acknowledging generational impacts that affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of today. She strongly believes our people are the key to leading change going forward.
