This week QATSICPP releases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children in the Queensland Child Protection System 19/20 Data Summary.
This document has been developed by drawing together relevant publicly available data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs about our children’s involvement with different parts of the child protection system; from investigations through to placement in out-of-home care.
The document also features an infographic highlighting key data insights and trends in the data to raise awareness and spark discussions about critical issues relating to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Child Placement Principle.
