QATSICPP has released its 2024–25 Annual Report, Positive Futures, marking a year shaped by cultural leadership, community partnership and sector wide collaboration across Queensland.
The report highlights QATSICPP’s strengthened role as the peak for child protection and continued to grow into its position as Queensland’s Youth Justice Peak, standing for both its community-controlled member base, as well as over 50 youth justice funded organisations across the state.
This expanded role reinforces the importance of community leadership, cultural knowledge and local decision making in influencing policy, reducing over representation, and supporting evidence-based approaches to prevention, early intervention and strengthening self-determination.
The 2024–25 Annual Report shares how Delegated Authority continued to expand across communities, how the Centre of Excellence progressed research and evidence grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge, and how youth justice engagement elevated the voices and experiences of young people, practitioners and community leaders.
These stories highlight a shared commitment to ensuring children grow up safe, cared for and able to achieve their full potential, and to supporting them to grow physically, emotionally and spiritually strong.
QATSICPP thanks its members, partners, and communities for their support throughout the year. Through strong collaboration and shared purpose, we are collectively creating new and better ways of supporting children, young people and families across Queensland.
