Final Program Released
The final program for the 2022 QATSICPP Members Conference has been released.
We are thrilled to see our members sharing their practice wisdom and knowledge as well as hearing from interstate colleagues such as Dr Jacynta Krakouer, Catherine Liddle (SNAICC), and Richard Weston (NSW Deputy Children’s Guardian for Aboriginal Children and Young People).
Professor Sandra Creamer and Muriel Bamblett will be speaking about their work on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Council on family, domestic and sexual violence. Mick Gooda will share with us the Path to Treaty work in Queensland.
The Director General, Deidre Mulkerin of Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs will be speaking to her commitments to the reform process.
Semara Jose and Merrissa Nona from Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good will share their thoughts and insights with us.
We will also hear from QATSICPP CEO Garth Morgan and QATSICPP Chair, Aunty Rachel Atkinson.
Excitingly, this year our program will feature a deadly group of young people from across Queensland, participating in and supporting the running of the conference. There will be time to sit and reflect and talk about what you have heard over the two days in the Yarning Circles.
We look forward to reconnecting with all of you and hope you have a wonderful experience.
